Established in 2009, Sub Sea Systems developed the Reef Alliance program as a way to deliver a conservation message to every SeaTREK participant.
Most SeaTREK participants are experiencing their first breaths underwater and encountering marine life for the first time. As responsible stewards of the ocean, it is our mission to educate guests about the fragile nature of the ocean ecosystem, create awareness about responsible diving practices, and encourage proactive efforts in keeping our beaches and reefs clean.
Every SeaTREK Guide signs the Reef Alliance pledge, committing to uphold and promote the program’s mission. And, every SeaTREK tour begins with a safety briefing followed by a relevant educational message.
Join the effort!
Many SeaTREK operators organize community outreach programs, working with local schools and groups to offer SeaTREK and build an ambassador program, while several SeaTREK operators donate a portion of ticket sales to research, grants, or local conservation efforts.
